    City of Toronto www.toronto.ca Toronto's only Victoria Day fireworks show will be a spectacular 14 minute display at Ashbridges Bay Park, rain or shine. TTC service will be increased between Queen Street East and the Bloor-Danforth subway on the Coxwell (22A), Main (64) and Woodbine South (92A). It is recommended that members of the public use the TTC and leave their cars at home. A special viewing area with limited space is set aside to accommodate people with disabilities and their families. City bylaws prohibit the public from setting off personal fireworks in the park.

    The Parade begins at 2:00 pm sharp and runs for approximately two hours. We will begin the parade on Queen Street at Munro Park and proceed west along Queen Street ending at Woodbine Ave. Road Closures On Sunday, April 21, 2019, the annual Beaches Easter Parade will take place at 2 p.m. and run from Queen Street East and Munro Park Avenue, and continue along Queen Street East to Woodbine Avenue. A full road closure will take place on Queen Street East, and parts of Nursewood Road, Woodbine Avenue, and Lake Shore Boulevard East. A number of secondary roads will also be closed or partially closed, affecting traffic flow in the area. Here are the details: Road closure: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (partial road): Queen Street East, from Munroe Park Avenue to Fallingbrook Road Road closure: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (full road): Queen Street East, from Munroe Park Avenue to Fallingbrook Road; Nursewood Road, from Queen Street East to #24 Nursewood Road Road closure: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (full road): Queen Street East, from Woodbine Avenue to Fallingbrook Road Road closure: 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (full road): Woodbine Avenue, from Queen Street East to Lake Shore Boulevard East Lake Shore Boulevard East, from Coxwell Avenue to Woodbine Avenue Police say drivers can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation. The TTC will be rerouting buses and streetcars through the area. Passengers can expect delays. The event will go ahead rain or shine.
