Toronto Waterfront plan has good flow - Waterfront Toronto
There’s lots of land in Toronto’s downtown East waterfront, and it’s got developers drooling. Three large parcels, in particular, are the focus of attention: the 62 acre East Bayfront, the 80-acre West Donlands and the sprawling 1,000-acre Port Lands. The terrain is unique, largely created by filling in Lake Ontario in the early 20th century, and made up of the Don River and its floodplain, plus the Keating Channel which alters the river’s mouth to the bottom of Cherry Street.
